We carry out expert field mapping of your forest land and identify locations that cause rapid water runoff, erosion, and increased risk of local flash floods. We focus mainly on compacted soils, forest roads, skid trails, logging lines, and other runoff pathways that significantly affect the water regime of the area.
Mapping Output and Proposed Measures
The output is a clear map of risk locations and an expert analysis of runoff conditions on the land. It also includes a proposal of specific measures that help slow runoff, increase infiltration, and stabilize forest soil. These materials can be used when planning forest management, preparing landscape water-retention projects, and designing flood protection measures.
